YAP: Young Adult Apprenticeship Program

A YouthBuild‑compliant pathway connecting opportunity youth to paid work‑based learning, training, and employer-led apprenticeship pipelines.

YAP is Krkonos Learn’s flagship youth apprenticeship pathway for opportunity youth (ages 16–24). Built to the YouthBuild model, YAP moves participants from exploration to meaningful work-based learning, then into employer-led apprenticeship or employment. The program blends classroom instruction, hands-on practice, employer mentorship, and wraparound supports — with a clear sequence that prepares young adults for sustainable careers in construction, advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, and allied industries.

  • Earn-while-you-learn: paid work-based learning and employer placements.
  • Apprenticeship alignment: pre-apprenticeship design with direct employer pathways.
